Join Cabrillo Marine Aquarium staff and help us inspire curiosity and understanding of Southern California's marine environment, reaching thousands of visitors each year.
Our interns and staff work both in public-facing roles and behind the scenes, supporting the Aquarium’s mission across a variety of departments, including Aquarists, Exhibits, Research-Aquatic Nursery, Programs, Education, Outreach, Administration, Maintenance, and the Friends of Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.
Most internship and staff opportunities at CMA are part-time. Full-time (Civil Service) positions are administered through the City of Los Angeles Personnel Department, as Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is part of the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.
