Internships

Turn your passion for the ocean into hands-on experience at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. As an intern, you'll work alongside Aquarium staff while helping educate thousands of visitors each year about Southern California's unique marine environment. Whether you're engaging with guests or working behind the scenes, internships offer valuable opportunities to develop new skills, explore career paths, and contribute to the Aquarium's mission of education, conservation, and stewardship.

Internship opportunities are available in a variety of departments, including Aquarists, Exhibits, Research & Aquatic Nursery, Education, Programs, Outreach, Administration, Maintenance, and the Friends of Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.

Most internship positions are part-time.
